Are the lids and straws leak-proof?
Our cups are designed with a fitted lid and straw opening meant to reduce spills during normal handling and everyday use, such as carrying the cup in a bag or setting it down on a table. That said, no lid-and-straw cup is completely leak-proof under all conditions — tipping the cup on its side, shaking it, or applying pressure to the lid can still cause some liquid to escape. We recommend keeping cups upright when possible, especially when packed in a bag.
Will my jute hanging basket have a smell when it arrives?
It might, especially when it's new. Jute is a natural plant fiber, and products made from it can carry a mild natural odor straight out of the packaging. This is a normal characteristic of the material, not a defect, and it typically fades on its own over time as the basket airs out. If you're sensitive to natural fiber smells, we'd recommend giving the basket some time in a ventilated area before placing it indoors.
Are the hanging baskets suitable for outdoor use?
Our jute hanging baskets are hand-woven from natural fiber, which means they're best suited for indoor use or covered/sheltered outdoor spots rather than direct, prolonged exposure to rain or heavy weather. Natural fibers like jute can be affected by consistent moisture over time, so keeping the baskets out of direct wet conditions will help them hold up better.
Do the hanging baskets come with the hardware needed to mount them?
Our 3-piece hanging basket sets are sold together with a matching set of hanging hooks, so you'll have what you need to mount all three baskets included in the same package. Please check your specific product listing to confirm exactly what's included with that particular set.
Can I use the cups in the microwave?
We don't currently list our plastic cups as microwave-safe products. To avoid damaging the cup or affecting its shape and finish, we'd recommend not microwaving them and instead using them for cold or warm (not boiling) beverages as intended for everyday drinkware use.
